These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) govern your relationship with the website https://registrar.pt
(the “Service”) operated by Sampling Line Lda (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
I. Purchases
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.
By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.
II. Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies
We are constantly updating our offerings of products and services on the Service. The products or services available on our Service may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and we may experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our advertising on other websites.
We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
III. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
By accepting this agreement, you agree that Sampling Line Lda will register and manage the domains in your order on your behalf.
IV. Domain Registration
Sampling Line Lda provides domain registration services to our clients who have more than 200 domains in their portfolio.
Registration is carried out through an automated system available at https://registrar.pt
In order for your account to be approved in the automated system, you must request it through the website and await manual approval.
When you wish to register a domain name in the automated system, you search for a domain and TLD. Then you request the registration, provide your contact details, and after payment, the domain is registered automatically.
During the registration process, you will be asked in the wizard if you agree to our terms and conditions and to the registry policies. Links to all documents will be provided. Your confirmation will be stored in our database along with a timestamp, IP address, and browser details.
You will receive an email confirming the registration of your domain and you will be able to manage it through the online system.
Domain name registration is subject to applicable ICANN policies and the rules of the respective registry operators, including registration, transfer, and dispute resolution policies.
V. Domain Renewal
Domains managed by Sampling Line Lda may be automatically renewed in accordance with the service model agreed with the client. The domain holder is responsible for ensuring timely renewal before the expiration date. Domain renewals are billed in accordance with the applicable pricing in force. The registrant may receive notifications before and after domain expiration in accordance with applicable policies.
VI. Domain Transfer
We do not charge for the transfer of a single domain or a small group of domains.
We charge €5000.00 for the transfer of domain portfolios larger than 500 names.
The transfer process follows the standard gTLD transfer procedure. In our online system, you may request a transfer from another provider if you have the transfer code, or view your domain’s transfer code if you wish to transfer it out. Then, the previous/new registrant will receive a confirmation link and, after the entire process is confirmed, we will proceed with the transfer.
Domain transfers are subject to ICANN transfer policies and the rules of the respective registry operators.
VII. Domain Expiration
Domains that are not renewed may enter a grace period and subsequently a redemption period, during which they may be recovered upon payment of additional fees, where applicable. After these periods, the domain may be deleted and made available for registration by third parties.
VIII. Domain Cancellation
If you no longer wish to use a domain name with us, you must inform us through the online system at least 30 days prior to the expiration date so that we may delete it.
If you inform us less than 30 days in advance, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel the domain in time. If the domain is automatically renewed, the maximum amount charged will be the annual renewal fee.
There are no additional domain cancellation fees.
IX. Data Accuracy
As a domain registrant, you must provide Sampling Line Lda with accurate and reliable contact details and correct and update them within seven (7) days of any change during the term of the domain registration, including: full name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and fax number if available – for the domain registrant; the name of an authorized contact person in the case of an organization; the same personal and contact details for administrative, technical or billing contacts; and the domain name servers.
The deliberate provision of inaccurate or unreliable information, the deliberate failure to update information within seven (7) days of any change, or failure to respond for more than fifteen (15) days to inquiries by Sampling Line Lda regarding the accuracy of contact details associated with the domain registration shall constitute a material breach of this agreement and grounds for suspension and/or cancellation of the domain registration.
If you license the use of a domain name to a third party, you will remain the official registrant and are responsible for providing your own full contact information as well as accurate and reliable technical and administrative contact information to facilitate timely resolution of any issues relating to the domain. A licensed user of a domain under this provision shall accept liability for harm caused by wrongful use of the domain, unless you disclose the contact information of the licensed user and their identity within seven (7) days to a party providing reasonable evidence of actionable harm.
If you purchased a domain through our aftermarket service, you are required to change the official registrant to your own registrant details within seven (7) days after purchase. If you do not change the registrant details, we reserve the right to lock your domain until compliance. Our support team will assist with manual changes.
These obligations are in accordance with ICANN requirements regarding the accuracy of registration data.
X. Copyright Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. It is our policy to respond to any claim that Content posted on the Service infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights (“Infringement”) of any person.
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized on behalf of one, and you believe that a copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement through the Service, you must submit your notification in writing to the attention of “Copyright Infringement” at abuse@registrar.pt
, including a detailed description of the alleged Infringement.
You may be held liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) for misrepresenting that any Content is infringing your copyright.
You represent that, to the best of your knowledge and belief, neither the registration of the domain nor the manner in which it is used directly or indirectly infringes the legal rights of third parties.
XI. Links To Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Sampling Line Lda.
Sampling Line Lda has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Sampling Line Lda shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.
XII. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
You agree that we may terminate or suspend a domain name registered by you if you fail to respond to our contact request for more than 15 (fifteen) days, in cases where the domain has been flagged for DNS abuse (phishing, pharming, malware, viruses, etc.). We may take action to suspend the domain earlier, including by contacting your hosting provider, if the domain poses a threat to the security or stability of the Internet.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
You agree that domain name registration shall be subject to suspension, cancellation, or transfer in accordance with any Specification or Policy, or pursuant to any registrar or registry procedure not inconsistent with any Specification or Policy, (1) to correct errors made by Sampling Line Lda or the Registry Operator in registering the name or (2) for the resolution of disputes concerning the domain name.
Domain name registration may be suspended, cancelled, or transferred in accordance with ICANN policies and applicable registry operator rules.
XIII. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Sampling Line Lda, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
The registrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sampling Line Lda and applicable registry operators, as well as their directors, employees and agents, from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of or related to the registration or use of the domain name.
XIV. Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
Sampling Line Lda, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and licensors do not warrant that: a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
XV. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with Portuguese law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms, the courts of the Loures district shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
For the resolution of disputes related to the use of the domain name, you shall submit, without prejudice to other potentially applicable jurisdictions, to the jurisdiction of the courts of (1) the registrant’s domicile and (2) where Sampling Line Lda is located.
XVI. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
